Whilst many people are now on 2.4 Ghz a number have already registered with "preferred" 40 Mhz frequencies.

These will be allocated on a first come first served basis with any conflicts being resolved in favour of the person who registered first. Final allocated frequencies will be confirmed to all 40 Mhz users shortly before the event.

Sail numbers will be managed in a similar way.

So as Fred Pontin said "Book Early!!"

Camping Update

After a meeting with the Sailing Club, we have agreement to allow 10 No camper vans or caravans and 10No Tents.

The camper vans/ caravans need to be around 20 ft to gain access (NO Winnebagos or Team Coaches!)
Camper Vans / Caravans will be parked in the club car park near the club house, this is rough hardstanding.
The tents will be pitched in the boat park, so need to be appropriately sized (No Tented Villages!)

There will be a charge of £15.00 for the weekend to cover the cost of cutting keys for the entrance gate.
People staying on site will have access to the showers/ toilets and there will most probably be someone in the galley early for tea/coffee and bacon sandwiches.

We have already had requests from a number of people, so the places are limited. Please email: sailing@ashbyroadeast.demon.co.uk for more info.
